VM30's on an R5, throttle options?

I've run into a snag on my racebike prep, hoping the brain trust can

I'm switching to a ported R5 top end and VM30's (large frame type) and I realized last night that the stock throttle setup doesn't seem to have the needed adjustment/travel to pull these carbs. I'm going to disassemble the junction block today and see if I can get more travel.

Can the stock R5 throttle setup work with these carbs? If not, I'll need to convince John to 2-day ship one of these

Chuck made my R5 throttle work with TM32s, honestly I never asked how he did it.

I once got a DNS because I was putzing with that cable splitter. ONCE.

Now all my twins have a Tomiselli Daytona throttle  with THREE cables. One cable is a spare that never gets lost

I do have a cable that will work with the stock throttle with or without the pump, not on the website, just give us a call.

Thanks John, I'll call today to get the right cables on order.

For this weekend I figured out that I could use a RD350 junction block and cables, but then they were too long so I machined a spacer to take up the slack at the junction end. Not the most elegant solution but it will work until the proper cables arrive.

I had to fab my own throttle cable for my OKO 28mm carbs. I just used some spare cables and soldered the ends. It took forever because I had to measure twice and cut once multiple times to make it perfect but I am so glad that I did it because of stock vm28 were way too loose and it messed my 3 way split tension.
