74 dt125 TIMING QUESTION , points

Quick question:

74 DT125 points unit with the factory advance mechanism. timing is set statically at marks (aet to 1.8mm) before advance is engaged, correct?  Just need a quick verification from anyone that is familiar with this specific model or actually has a manual they can reference. Thanks!

I don't own a DT, but I think logically you are correct.

I appreciate that, but i think we got it. set it static and it seems good. when we try to set it dynamically to the marks advanced its maxed out on adjustment and wont run for shit. so, pretty sure its good. thanks for the offer though
