I messaged Metmachex in the UK just to see if they made stock length straight-pull swingarms for the 73-75 RD 350.

They responded:

"We would have to have your bike here as we don't have any jigs and/or drawings for the bike." I think a UK 2t friend might be able to help us out over the winter? :D

Will be watching this. 400 length would be better though.

:agree: interesting for sure. I am surprised they've no information for such a common bike.

Me too and why could not find someone real easy themselves.

There is a member here who has fitted one of them to a 400, and I think he mentioned he is a friend of the owner.
If I remember right it was Dusty350 or something similar.

Crickets so far on ACRD forum. I asked of anyone had a rolling chassis they'd be willing to let metmachex take a look at. I bet if I offered to pay for a swingarm for them it'd be a different time lol.

RDFL

Haven't been there in long time, just went no replies at all. I at least expected can't do it myself but hopefully someone can etc. but nothing.

RDFL

I didn't know they had one for 400, didn't last time I looked (was a long time ago)

m in sc

if they still offer it, id go w a 400 one.

RDFL

I wonder what shipping would be, notoriously high from UK.

RDFL

That's what I saw, assume they have available.

Striker1423

The only reason I asked about a 350 one was because I'd rather leave the stock setup as much alone as possible. Just a more modern straight-pull adjuster and better swingarm would look nice.

...but you DO realise everyone, including Yamaha, thinks putting a longer swing arm on a RD350 improves the handling
