Does an RD400 motor fit in an R5 frame ?.I am think about the RD400 rubber mounts

it will bold right in. only issue is back rear upper mount. most people just dont use it. or get creative and make something.

also, just fyi the charging systems are different so if you do that, use an rd400 reg rectifier if you are using stock parts.

Reminds me of the time I went to look at a bike advertised as a RD400. I get there and it was a RD400 with a R5 motor in it. I passed.

That's like the guy who told me the other day,  while talking about the r5 I'm trying to sell, says just say it's an rd and people will call. :bang:
