a question that i should be able to get my head around, but cant.

if i replace a worn set of ign points with a new set, assuming the points gap is the same, does the ignition timing stay the same??

the heel wears. also mfg variances.

Take your time when setting the ignition timing the point plates tend to move quite a bit when you tighten them down.
