Turning Wrenches / RZ clutch
August 17, 2019, 07:20:19 PM
It's time for  a new clutch in the mostly stock RZ 350 (HVC pipes and correct jetting). Would prefer to use genuine Yamaha. Any thoughts or input is greatly appreciated.........................D

Striker, a fellow VME member just bought a Continental GT, says it's the smoothest twin he's ever rode. He has a few thousand miles on it and has nothing but praise for it. He opted for one of the optional seats (not sure which one) and loves it! BTW the horn is F#####G LOUD!

I recently finished the mechanical resto on my DS7 barn find. It rips and rides excellent. Friends have told me to go all the way( paint, chrome, blah blah blah!) I'm leaving the cosmetics original, because they're only that way once...........................................D

Well the SRX is up and running perfectly! I got the starting drill down and it's usually a one or two kick affair. The bike is very light and agile, definite back road burner. Now back to the RZ project..................................................D

Yeah, I used to have a TT500, sonofabitch if you touch the throttle! The seller has an amazing collection of Yamahas that are pristine originals ,or real nice restorations. He's asking $2500 for the SRX which seems more than fair for the condition and mileage (11,000) bike has period upgrades, pipe, suspension, oil cooler. We meet on the 7th. If all is as promised pictures will follow...........................................D

BTW, I'll check out his other offerings as well
