Admittedly I am a bit of a helmet nerd, I have tried many over the years and it is key to match head shape to the brand.  I have a round head and find Shoei, AGV and Simpson to fit the best.  I second that the RF1200 is one of the best.  Arai does have models for both round and oval and they IMO have the most comfortable linings.  Plus those antimicrobials for any Greg White fans :azn:

The last thing I will note is weight and ventilation,  especially in Florida, for me a lighter helmet is worth the investment but it took me years to come to that conclusion as I am cheap.

I just retired my Shoei rf1000 and bought a Shoei rf1400.

Helmets are tricky, I didn't like the new rf1400 at first, it needed serious break in on the cheek pads. I couldn't return it so I kept wearing it and now it is very comfortable and super quiet.

I wish I could fit AGVs, they look cool and are fairly reasonably priced.
