Footpeg mounting bars.
2 grommets on each.
How do you get them out to replace or paint part?
Seems like they should be a split part.

Rather not cut them out.
Then how to get new ones in

If old and hard, heat gun or soak in boiling water for about ten minutes.

heat gun or hair dryer. not a fan of the boiling water because it leaves the rubber harder when done. .02

softening it up is good.

Problem is trying to get the all around the expanded part to pull it to the center, to then push thru.
need 6 hands.

I was going to try a hose clamp, and tighten up to push expanded part to center.
Then use socket to try & get started thru.

I think once its started a bigger socket can then push all the way.

May have to then do reverse to get new one in.

I received the new ones.
So I just cut the old ones out.

New ones were split lengthwise, so they went in easy.

Old rubber was really compressed & hard, so these should make a difference.
