I'm still so tempted to make an offer on this one especially since its local and I know what they paid for it.

I've never even ridden one and not sure how Id like it but I sure do love that King Kenny paint theme.   :love eyes:

I generally have the tv on motortrend while Im wrenching in the shop.

I just like to listen to the dialogue, radio jangles my concentration too much for some reason?

Yeah, the RD250 I posted above is sold already.  A guy on facebook RD group page was showing his purchase and I recognized it right away.  Pretty nice little survivor at a fair price.

Not mine, this one was shared on here the last time it was for sale a few weeks ago at like $5700.

Same bike, back up for sale again...this time for a couple of grand more.  Someone's flipping it.

Quote from: dgorms on March 21, 2024, 07:58:22 PMIt' a good price, if it's as described.

I've actually seen a pic or two of that bike before because I specifically remember seeing that Malcolm Smith sticker on the side.  I just cant recall where?

He stated that the engine was rebuilt by Spec II four years ago...only ridden couple hundred miles since rebuild.

Says the carbs probably need cleaned, which could mean its been sitting or who knows what?

The additional pics are far from cherry, but I've certainly seen worse.

Yeah, I saw that one pop up today as well.  Lotta crispy/rusty and missing stuff on it but might make a good project for someone.

I already have two 75's of my own I just got (luckily!) so pass, even though its in my backyard too.

Quote from: Kawtriplefreak on March 13, 2024, 05:03:02 PMLH headlight ear cracked. RH side of headlight bucket cracked at the mount hole. Luckily I have a spare ear and new repro bucket from John at Economy Cycle bought last year because one of the mount tabs on the rim broke. I will do a better job with isolation this iteration.
Disassembly was straightforward.

Put on some rubber gloves to keep my greasy paw prints off of the freshly bead blasted parts and shot a nice coat of Rustoleum's finest etching primer. I hope to paint them on Saturday with good old Chevy orange 500 degree engine enamel.

I too have a 75 RD350B...is there one brand of Chevy Engine Orange thats better than others at matching our OEM color?

I just test sprayed some Duplicolor and it looks pretty good, maybe a little darker...that could be because I didnt use a light color primer on the test metal piece.
