Sweet. Those look too nice to use, but not really.

I am debating getting them vapor honed to knock some of the dazzle dazzle down. its a bit much

But they also look raw and real.

went ahead and got the heads on today. easy,  very well made. the only tuning change i had to make was 1 up on the main and a bit of air screw tweaking. its def worth the coat, made a big difference.

They sure are good looking. Are the small holes in the OE heads stock?
I post waayyy too much

2nd that- VPs are purty! Is it optical illusion or is the spark plug hole and dome off center in the stockers?

both are true regarding the stockers. the heads are non centered plugs and the holes are indeed stock. the stock heads are absolutely dismal design wise. no squishband. somehow they worked . they did detonate even at idle, its fairly well known. lol.

the mew heads are petty, but that def wasnt my reason for getting them, but it certainly didn't hurt. the power is much crisper. hell, on the 1st test run i even pulled a decent unintentional wheelie.

The pictures showing shiny new heads and their respective unpainted pipes with raw welds are just pure engine porn. I don't have street bikes any more so I enjoy reading about/seeing all the different projects represented on this site. My garage is down to a couple mud covered dirt bikes, 2 strokes of course.

thanks. here it is in full view, the guy i got the heads from asked for a picture.

dare i say its basically done. last week after i brazed up the worn shift shaft the leak is now gone .  :cheerleader:  while i was int here i added a sight tube because w the oil dam mod the sight plug/drain level overflow thing isn't effective. (the mod puts the level at 1400-1500 vs the 1200cc of a stock transmission).
