Beginning the process of rebuilding the spare t500 crank i bought a few weeks ago. new middle seals last night. (this is all the pics i have). took almost 10 tons of pressure to get apart, yes, i heated the flywheel to expand it.

for those that don't know, there is a rubber seal on each side of the big central middle bearing. that bearing is lubricated by trans fluid.  the seals i pulled out fo this crank were hard as a rock. the ones currently in my t500 are leaking for sure (well RH side for sure), so its sucking all sorts of tranny fluid. the outer seals were already swapped so that's not it.

next up to get it on the v blocks to true it.  when it sgood, i'll pull the t500 motor out and do a crank swap and update the oiling issue they had in the trans. thats another story...

Agreed. That's a helluva nice press.
I have only built a few RD cranks, and while most pins come out at or below 10 tons, a larger press is much better. 50 or 100 tons is perfect. Reason is the flex and stretch in smaller presses making it very difficult to set the big end side clearance to spec. Once you have enough pressure to move the pin, it often moves too much. That's my experience anyway.
