Been there, done that.

These are, by the way, the exact same set of wheels.

Hope Travis gave you a good deal on the wheels, Austin.

Well I just hit the track yesterday and I was very impressed with the 300XC to say the least. I went back and forth with another very experienced road racer on his Husqvarna FS450 and they were very evenly matched. I could carry a little more corner speed and get on the gas a bit earlier which matched his torque off the bottom of the lower gears, from 3rd gear on they were nearly identical on power and drive. This made for some really good riding and passing scenarios.

Yep same exact wheels but on a better 300.

Great enough to where I could not pass on the opportunity

Savage burn!

Better, newer bike, and waay better rider.

I should mention to the rest of you reading this ... Austin is, by far, the fastest and winningest racer/rider I know, both on the roadrace track and vintage dirt.

Haha it's all in good fun Jim and thank you for your comments.

I already showed it off in the projects thread but why not. Thanks for all your help and knowledge getting this all back together Jim.

I am pretty sure I can see a smile, even through the tinted face shield.  :celebrate:
Ya gotta love a good SuperMoto. Even better when it's a 2 stroke.
Thanks for sharing, JJ

Went ahead and blacked it out and I think it turned out well.
