Holes in piston skirt

Are more holes in piston skirt benifical for better performance? Possibly lining up with the boost port?

I have done extra boost holes in the backside of the piston skirts, but in order to maximize effect you also need to slot port the boost port on the cylinder wall, did this my Jetski engines I built in the past. Just remember jetski engines turn less RPM's due to being direct drive.
If your talking about an RD engine, imo your way better to just port in a big boost port to stay away from turbulence at high RPM's.
I have made mid 70's hp in roadrace engines on race gas and lower 60's for pump gas 400's on the street...
