R5 fork interchangeable parts?

Good morning all,

I'm currently gaining parts to swap over my R5 to disc, I have acquired a set of TX500 forks & RD triple trees. The fork stanchions on the TX500 forks are in poor state. But the sliders are fine. My R5 stanchions are in good condition.

My question is do we think the R5 stanchions, damper rods & springs will fit into the TX500 sliders. I know the obvious answer is to fit a whole RD front end, but I'm trying to use parts that I've accumulated for free to keep costs down.
