this bike started off life as an 85 KX500.

huge list of mods/details went into this bike. The main ones include:
Ducati 748/996 front end (triples, brakes, front forks, front wheel, fairing stay)
Ducati 748 Ohlins rear shock
Ohlins steering stabilizer
ZX6R fairings
Ninja 650r tank
CBR300R rear wheel
Procircuit works pipe

Nice!

Looks like a real fun bike.

How is that chassis with the bike street parts attached to it?  I always though the dirt frames and swingers, especially from that era, were simply too small and soft to handle something like a modern set of forks and rubber.  Looks like you have it out @ the track too?

I bet that bike is fun as hell to ride. Probably gets a lot of attention in the pits when you light it off too haha.

I've had it at mid ohio once which isn't an ideal track for this bike. Straights are too long and the bike is topped out for a while. Does better at NYST in NY. Handles well but i am not riding this as hard as i could. Still testing/tuning the suspension. Need more seat time. Its a good start though
