Is there anything specific on a R5 Vape install vs the RD install?
What mods to the wiring harness will be needed?
Thanks.

specific on a n r5 vs an rd350? not really except the lack of a bar kill switch on the r5. I have one on my 70, it was pretty easy to do.

chuck has a great thread on installation:

Hey hey, I actually had a question about the vape install too, so might jump in and hijack the thread for a sec.

So I've installed mine, it sparks and I think it will work just fine. However, and I know M in SC has mentioned kill switch installs before, but where exactly in the system would you wire in a killswitch if you were keeping the relay? I just need a way to instantly cut the spark while commissioning my system. Seems like any talk about a switch involves not using the relay

get a dirt bike kill switch that when you depress it, completes the ground. connect that wire to the blue wire off the coil. (which also goes to the relay)

like this or similar.

Yep dirt bike kill switch. I mounted it under the seat . No wires on the bars .
