Hi! Quick question for racers or ex racers. What type and brand do you recommend. Lots of choices out there but what are guys using? Thank You!!!

I believe pad material depends a lot on disc material, i.e cast iron vs stainless vs other special steels. EBC HH are often recommended by some disc manufacturers.

Correct, and Vintage Brake will suggest and sell you the pads that suit your set up the best.

SBS's are great on stock disks, better than the EBC's

Thanks Chuck. Part number or maybe just material recommendation. Not sure how many different they offer. Economy sells sbs and says good for street or race.

SUPERTUNE

SBS Part # is 504HF (stock 2 piston caliper)
They say street on the package, but work great even for track on the stock disks.
Race pads are too aggressive for the stock rotors and over heat them so they warp bad or fade late in the race because of excessive heat.

Economy sells the 504HF (1721-1533). And you get a 10% discount.  ;)

Yes Russ, I am going to get the Galfer braided lines also! Do I need an adapter to attach these brake lines to Oem or repop calipers?

SoCal250

I believe the front Galfer hose comes with the necessary adapter for the caliper . The rear should be a direct swap.
