Thanks, for the kind words.
I would have prefered a RG500 over the RZV500R....But the price difference for comparable condition was extreme.
Also the RZV has been my dream bike longer than the RG500 has existed, so I had to get the RZV first either way  ::)
Yamaha definitely does things in a more complicated way than Suzuki does from what I have seen from the RGV vs TZR, and RZV vs RG....

1991 Yamaha TZR250RSP 3XV2......lots of letters and numbers for a simple description I know....
Parts on the way for a complete trans/clutch removal and reinstall....then it should be road ready.

Trans back in the TZR now and I have put about 75 kilometers on it, without any issues.....bike runs very good for a non runner  :o

Next project on the operating table.....I will have had this bike in various stages of bits and pieces for over 6 years this month.
It is time to take this parts bike, and make it the hardest hitting stroker I have built yet....

 Thanks...

A small glimpse of fame..... That cost me a fortune
Not much to show lately...
The TZR has a new correct tail section on it now, and have a few parts collected to swap out before spring.
And the RGV VJ21.....is down to the bare frame at the moment waiting for me to do some soda blasting, and have a fresh start.

I hope to have some progress on my VJ21 project soon, and will probably start a project thread from basket case to the Salt Flats.

Winter is here, bikes are hibernating as I collect some parts to get the RZV running like I want.
As well as having the TZR ready for spring, and the RGV on it's own two wheels again.
No riding ...... :(

Thanks
They were all dreams for me as well when I would read about them, when reviewed as new bikes in the magazines.

Better bodywork for the tail of the 3XV2....have a few more bits to swap on it now that I'm off work for the holidays

But these 3 are ready and willing to go at any time..... ranging from a genuine 60-65 rear wheel HP from 250cc.... a MotoGP ride can be just a kick away.

You can smell this picture.  I literally stopped scrolling to fully enjoy it.  It's an experiential picture for sure.
