when you cleaned your harness, what did you use in your ultrasonic?  I am working on mine now and not sure if I should use WD or order some simple green.

I used Dollar Store Totally Awesome, about 25% with water.  After cleaning I sprayed connectors with WD.  Later I hung it in my utility room to dry for a week or two.   I didn't completely submerge it,
(because it didn't fit) I did each section of connectors at a time.   The heat loosened up the covers on the connectors, allowing me to easily pull them back for close examination and final cleanup with a tiny brass brush.   It came out very good.

Very satisfying forward movement today.

Built up the front brake with new shoes and all the rechromed stuff:

Installed rechromed front fender:

Finally rolling again:

Front brakes functional, speedo connected:

Shifter side rearset functional, chain cleaned and installed.  Clutch cable connected.  Left side cover back on.

Steering damper drilled and installed:

Trying a new look with the Moto Carrera pipes, the five year old ceramic coating was showing its age...

Got the rear brakes all set up.  Installed new zirc fittings and greased the swinger and brake arm...

Rear tail light rechromed and installed...

Oil tank plumbed, filled and pump primed, pissing Bel Ray SI7...

Pretty much down to installing pipes and sidestand, then re-timing it since the heads were off.  1-2 more good days and I'm hopeful to be back on the road.
